Sponge Cake

Ingredients:
150 gms flour sieved thrice
250 gms powdered sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp essence

Method:
Separate the egg yolks from egg whites, beat the egg whites very stiff, add powdered sugar, egg yolks and essence and beat very well. Finally fold in sieved flour very lightly, greased a mould, put the cake batter and bake in a pre-heated oven till brown. For chocolate sponge remove 3 tbsp of white flour from 150 gms of flour and add 3 tbsp of cocoa.
